Blackberry 9000 vs. Blackberry 9700

Blackberry 9000/White

Blackberry 9700 aka minibold

I recently bought this Blackberry smartphone. Features are:

• Bigger Buttons- this is a very good reason to buy this product if you have big fingers and find pressing buttons hard.
• Bigger Screen- this is useful if you struggle to read small print from close.
• Trackball not track pad- the usefulness of this feature is dependable on what you are used to. With the trackball you use rotate a ball on the device to move the selector/mouse. The trackpad is a bit like the trackpad of a laptop.

Compared to the Blackberry 9700, the best thing about this is the size of the screen and buttons, however it can be a disadvantage if you prefer small phones.
However the Blackberry 9700 is better with the fact that

• It is smaller- easier to carry around
• Has more internal memory (2gb) and you can add up to 8gb more of external memory, compared to the 9700 which has 1gb internal memory.

Both phones feature the blackberry messenger and all the standard items you have come to expect from a smart phone.
A reason why you should choose Blackberry's over smart phones is that it has a higher level of security. Plus it is excellent for business people albeit worse for gamers :S.
